      The majority of PC applications have separate menus for 
selecting typeface families and typeface styles. Most applications
let you choose among regular, bold, italic and bold italic styles in
the Style menu. However, some Unitype Library packages
include font software with additional style variations and
stroke weight variations. To select these variations, you
need to know how the styles are linked to the base typeface. 
For example, the AlessyUT typeface includes Light and Light Italic, 
Regular and Regular Italic, Bold and Bold Italic. 
      To use AlessyUT Light Italic, you need to choose 
AlessyUT Light from the application's Font menu(or equivalent), 
and then choose Italic from the Style menu(or equivalent).

      If you are using a Microsoft Windows application, Ventura
Publisher or Microsoft Word, follow the guide to typeface
style selection below. If you are using an application
other than these, refer to the application's documentation.

Microsoft Windows Applications

If desired font is KadlecUT-Light, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUTLight
    Style:    Normal
If desired font is KadlecUT-LightOblique, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUTLight
    Style:    Italic
If desired font is KadlecUT-Regular, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUT
    Style:    Normal
If desired font is KadlecUT-Oblique, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUT
    Style:    Italic
If desired font is KadlecUT-Bold, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUT
    Style:    Bold
If desired font is KadlecUT-BoldOblique, select:
    Typeface: KadlecUT
    Style:    Bold Italic
If desired font is KadlecUT-Black, select:
